What do you do when someone wrongs you but refuses to admit their actions even when confronted politely.
You might get upset.
And even though you are aware it is not the best response, you might react emotionally. Like most people, that rarely stops the anger from rising up inside.
Although there is some sort of guilty pleasure in calling someone out when you know they are in the wrong, it doesn’t solve anything. It simply justifies and temporarily appeases your anger.
What Will Your Anger Change?
You will notice that with enough reflection, you will have second thoughts about your original reaction to the incident. Revenge no longer seems to be the most appealing option.
The right choice, often, becomes clear. Move on and let it go.
Anger consumes us, takes over our body like a fever, and even changes the temperature at which we operate. In the same way that you take a pill and rest when you have a fever, reflection and writing your emotions on paper gives us the space to cool our head when anger pushes reasoning aside.
Begin to write in a journal every day. Spend time thinking deeply about your reactions and reflect on them before you go to sleep.
Your mind starts to question, therefore overruling emotion.
It is important to grab hold of the destructive emotions and impulses it creates before we are consumed with the rage.
You realize in a few days that your suffering comes to an end and instead of perpetuating an unnecessary fight, you rose above your anger.
