What Are You Working on Being Better At?
There is a good chance that you are very good at a handful of things. Most likely, these things are related to your job. Further, if this skill set got you your job or is one you employ daily, you probably do not spend much time thinking about what you’re not good at. However, self-improvement is an essential part of human growth, and is a meaningful activity on which to spend time.
Why You Need to Keep Working on Things
You’re not good at everything. In fact, there are probably a lot of things that you’re downright not good at. Working on improving yourself in myriad ways is an important component of your mental and cognitive health. Working on something new is challenging and stimulating, and can even improve your self-worth.
What Are You Working On?
The thing that you are working on doesn’t have to be extremely technical or relevant to your industry. Instead, you can work on anything that you’d like. Consider taking up painting, or mastering a craft. Think about learning a new language, or signing up for dance lessons. Having trouble with that yoga pose? Put in more effort and more time to nail it down. Have you always wanted to learn how to cook? Why not take advantage of that by signing up for a class?
