4 Sunday Musts for Energy and Happiness
It’s Sunday, which means you probably have a little extra time to focus on YOU today. That’s great, because taking time for yourself is an important part of well-being and happiness. If you’re not sure how to spend your time today to maximize your energy and happiness, here are four “Sunday musts” to keep you busy–
Today of all days, you have the time to get in some exercise. You don’t have to kill yourself at the gym, but you could go for a nice swim outdoors, a hike or a long walk or do some yoga in the park. Get your body moving in a way that you find enjoyable.
Have you been longing for some time when you can finally pick up a good book? Or how about even read the paper? Today’s the day – grab your coffee and head to the couch or the porch for an hour (or more!) of reading time for you.
3. Eat Well
Eating well is important for your physical health and your mental health, so take some time today to prepare or seek out a meal that is both delicious and good for you. You can also use today as an opportunity to meal prep for the upcoming week!
4. Have a Little Fun
It’s the last day of the weekend, so have a little fun. Plan a picnic, grab a beer with your partner or play a game with the family. Whatever is “fun” to you, take some time to commit to smiling, laughing, and boosting your dopamine!
