Everyone knows someone who, no matter how busy they are or how many obstacles are placed in front of them, appear to always have it together. The key to these people’s success is this: organization. If you want to be someone who has it together all of the time, here are some habits you need to integrate into your life to get more organized:
Put Things Where They Go
When all of your things have a home, you won’t have to constantly worry about where you put your keys, favorite T-shirt, etc. This saves you time and stress.
Make a Schedule
You don’t have to follow the exact schedule every single day, but you should have an idea of what you need to do and when you plan to get it done. If you know that you have 15 projects due by the end of the month, set time aside right now to portion out the work each day.
Give Others a Task
The phrase “If you want something done right, do it yourself,” has no place in the life of an über-busy person. When you have a lot going on, it’s good to delegate tasks to trusted people around you. Have a little faith – you married, made friendships with, hired, etc. these people for a reason.
How do you stay organized? How could you improve your organization?
