Take a look at the list you just wrote. This is how you define yourself.
Now, what needs to change? What would you like to change? If your old list included, “I am lazy,” your new list can include, “I am an active person.”
At first glance, this seems like a superficial bandage on the wound of deep-set negative beliefs. And it might feel fake writing down statements that do not define you… yet.
The first step in changing your mindset is to change those underlying limiting beliefs.

Write down a number of strategies to achieve a single goal. If you are keen on increasing your wealth, get creative with ten ways to increase your income.
The next step is to get to work and start making small changes. It is important not to bite off more than you can chew at the start. Despite having the greatest amount of enthusiasm at the beginning, starting big will only make the process difficult when the initial burst of energy fades.
