Strategy Provides Focus
Having a clear strategic plan is the best way to eliminate distractions. A clear strategic focus limits the number of directions you can run and ensures you stay on track towards finishing your goals.
Strategies help you to avoid the temptation of biting off more than you can chew. They force you to choose between two equally appealing choices. And it becomes easier when you relate the strategy to the goal which in turn relates to the vision you have for your life.
Strategy Is Fluid
If your life is not going according to your plans, change your strategies. And do it quickly.
You should never be fixed on your strategies. The vision for your life should not change but plans and strategies should be fluid. The what and why of your dreams is not something that should keep changing. The how – the plans and strategies, however will need to change.
How often you change your strategies is based on what actions are working for you. If a particular habit is producing major results and lifestyle changes, stick with it. If another habit is hardly making a difference, be quick to replace it with a more effective habit.
No two people will use the exact same strategies in their success journey. You will have to apply principles and make changes to your strategies based on your situations. To do this well, you need to be aware of your current reality.
And to achieve this awareness, you need to take time to reflect.
