We all have limited energy and time. It is best to spend our limited attention on the things that we are naturally good at. Learn to play to your strengths.
Find The Sweet Spot Between Strengths & Effort
This is not to discount the importance of putting in hours of hard work and improving your skills. On the contrary, a combination of playing to your strengths with maximum effort will yield successful results.
Find what you are good at and then adopt deliberate practice methods to improve your skills in that area.
If you believe in yourself and work really hard, almost nothing is impossible. However, it is likely that you will hit the ceiling and fail to progress beyond a certain point. Instead, find the skills that seem to come more naturally to you, the skills that others find difficult. This is where you need to focus your efforts.
When you combine effort with your natural talent, it leads you to your purpose.
