Instead, learn to protect and harness the energy that these tricky situations create in your life.
How can you be steadfast when faced with complications?
Protect Your Energy
Do you have a daily mindfulness practice? Stick with it. If not, now is a good time to start.
Are you getting enough sleep? Probably not. Go to bed early and ensure you are giving yourself at least 8 hours of rest every night.
Is your diet healthy? Watch what you eat – food affects mood.
Apart from these practical solutions, be mindful of your thinking patterns. Are you giving in to negative thought patterns that frustrate you even more?
Harness The Extra Energy
Anger, frustration and anxiety are all forms of energy. You can learn to focus these energies and put them to practical use.
It takes a mind that is aware and awake to notice these emotions. Accept them and then decide to channel them into more healthy outcomes.
This is also a good time to remind yourself of the vision you have for your life. If circumstances are forcing you to change your strategy, have the courage to make the tough decisions.
Your plans and strategies are likely to change but you need to be consistent with your vision.
