3 Things to Do on Sundays to Prepare for the Week
It’s Sunday, and that means that you have hopefully spent the day resting and relaxing in preparation for the upcoming week of work, and the craziness of Halloween (particularly for those with children). If you did not spend today relaxing, now is the opportunity to think about why that is, and a few things that you can do on future Sundays to prepare yourself for the weeks ahead–
Sunday is a great opportunity to unplug. This means turning ff your computer, turning off your phone, and turning off your TV. Instead of being overly connected to technology, take time to connect with friends and family.
You shouldn’t spend too much time focusing on work on Sunday, but you should take a moment to think about the upcoming week and prepare yourself for it. What days do you have late meetings, and who will cook on those days? Will you need help getting the kids to school this week? Any last-minute details you need to sort out for the company luncheon?
Finally, take advantage of Sundays by unloading. Go for a walk and get some quiet time. Read a book. Take a nap. Cook a hearty and healthy meal. Use Sundays and time for YOU.
