Meditation is extremely good for mental health, and yet can be extremely difficult to do. In fact, while meditation is supposed to bring about peace, in many cases it yields its own set of frustrations; many people simple aren’t able to turn their minds off, which can be a major nuisance.
What causes mental chaos?
Mental chaos—or all those thoughts going on in your head when you’re trying to meditate—is caused from worries and fears. These fears include thoughts that you’re not:
- Good enough;
- Perfect enough;
- Happy enough; or/and
- Successful enough.
Chaos and Your Mind
Chaos doesn’t just get in the way of meditation; it can also prevent you from other achievements in your life. When you learn to manage the chaos within, success is more likely. Learning to meditate successfully is one way to help overcome chaos.
