There are multiple components to success. Two of the most important happen to be conviction and consistency. The former, conviction, is about certainty, passion, and dedication to reach a specific end. The latter, consistency, is harder to achieve, but is about doing something repeatedly and developing a habit.
Zeroing In on Conviction and Consistency
Often times, people have conviction, but no consistency. When this happens, the person’s energy is scattered and positive results are limited. In order to achieve success, a person must be laser-like in their focus; a laser points to a certain end and achieves results. You must have conviction, and be consistent in your efforts, for a single thing.
What Exhausts You?
You may be having a hard time reaching consistency because you’re feeling exhausted. This is normal. However, remember that a lack of consistently in the first place—the multiple stops and stars, fits and sputters—is what will tire you out; it’s a vicious cycle. When you’re exhausted, you are barred from working as hard as you could otherwise, and your success is limited.
