Taming the Inner Critic – Seeing Yourself on Camera

MASTER YOUR ENERGY MASTER YOUR LIFENow that social media is at a place where you’ll find yourself on camera at some point or another you want to learn to clear and resolve that inner critic about the camera. I know I certainly had to and continue to have to do this.

I discovered that I have muted energy when using video and when someone is talking to me and asking questions I’m myself and animated. What is your energy like when you do use video?

Worried about how you look? Afraid to speak loudly? Afraid or concerned that you’ll seem or look stupid? You become someone else. Worried about the camera because it adds 10 pounds. Don’t want to watch yourself because of unconscious beliefs that you don’t want to see where parts are imperfect? Afraid you won’t look professional enough and the video will make us look like an idiot, embarrassed, ashamed and like you don’t know what you’re talking about? I could go on but there’s an energetic technique to use that will clear this.

The color of your clothes matters just as much as the color of your energy. Remember that most people can’t get away with black on camera but Steve Jobs does it regularly and it’s really about his energy. He’s excited, hyped, enthusiastic and LOVES what he’s doing.

The key thing is to tap your heart. Here’s video on how to do better on camera. Try these energy techniques and then tell me your thoughts because I’m still in process on this camera thing as well.


New Years Eve With a Twist

Forget the vows to be on your diet til you reach your goal. Forget your commitments to make a commitment. Forget your resolutions. Forget setting intentions for the celebration of out with the old and in with the new.

You ask, what’s one to do for New Years?

Here’s the most healthy way to bring in the New Year and ring out the old.

Take a piece of paper write:

* everything you think you need to be forgiven for

* everything someone said that was negative about you

* the things that you didn’t get accomplished this year

* the things that you forgot – of course all you’re going to write is “all the things I forgot”

* the people that you’ve been unkind to and have been unkind to you

* all of your should haves

* all of your extra weight and the issues that are weighty

And then burn it.

Write a list that says this “I am that I am. I am doing the very best I can and if I could do better then I would be doing it. I am a more loving person today than yesterday. I am a more eco-conscious person than yesterday. I am doing something that makes a difference, loving more easily and I am sharing with others more.”

The Girl Effect – Respect

respectEvery day that I work to clear the beliefs and limitations of women that reside in the unconscious I am interacting with the past. This past can consist of perceptions that become a limitation to great success and healthy self esteem or it could be a real physical issue that came through the limited understanding of their parents. What remains constant is that there are many obstacles that women work through to become the powerful voices we have today.

We are in need of more powerful, clear, resonant and energetic voices from more women around the world. The time is ripe on the planet to embody this and yet we must clear these limitations that reside in the collective unconscious of women.

Let’s start by being more supportive and encouraging rather than judgemental and harsh to our fellow chicas. I see one of the very challenges with this simple act of harshness and judgement of how small another woman is because they are – not thin enough, not the right shape, not the right strength, not the right education, don’t have enough of the right friends etc.

Embrace the energy of respect. Respect every single other woman and girl for being just that – a woman or a girl. This is the biggest game changer ever. Give respect to every single woman or girl for one week and see how much your own business, job, female interactions, etc change.

Respect is one of the most dynamic energies that makes such a significant difference immediately. It will lead to more wonderful things in life but start with that.


Taming the Inner Critic 5 – The Body and It’s Critics End Their War

beautiful-bodyI worked with someone the other day and her inner critic was so loud about nearly everything in her life – worries about not enough money, worried that she couldn’t pay her mortgage even though she’d just landed some big money, worries about when the money runs out, worried that her boyfriend was going to dump her, etc — that I had to get very very quiet and listen to find the loudest. Turns out the loudest inner critic for her was her body image. Is this yours?

There is so much loathing around our bodies and comparison only makes it worse. The effect of beautiful touched up models is not a healthy thing but we have been doing thing since the beginning of time. You compare yourself to someone else and how they look and how they seem to move in the world. The comparisons are necessary but the critic is not.

FIRE the critic. Love the body!

The reality is that you are a body inside of a soul. The soul is always beautiful and the ideal body is already the right size. Our personality, patterns, programs and beliefs are the things that have gotten the body and its size distorted. The energy of your beingness when you’re walking around in the world is the energy that is inside and outside of you. So if you believe that the soul is pure then you’re halfway there.

Bring the body and soul together so that they are functioning as one. This can be done with some imagination and an ancient method taught to yogis. Imagination is one way but that’s not fully effective. Focus on your body for several minutes, breathe while you are focusing on the body. Again be aware of the body and think about 6 more energy bodies that extend outside of your body. These are layers outside of the physical body making up the soul. As you take you awareness to the body along with the other 6 imaginable bodies you can accomplish anything. I made some CDs for this very issue one is called Weight Less and the other is Discover Your Divine Self. Here’s a link  to the CD that will reset your mindset and clear those negative inner critics.

Your discovery of your divinity will align you toward the loving of the body and not rehiring the critic. Aligning your body and your energy fields is key to the end of the inner critic war.


Taming the Inner Critic – Saying Yes When You Really Want to Say No

Learn-How-to-Say-NoIt’s often very difficult to say what you want. Sometimes you don’t even know exactly what you want until much later. You say yes and then realize that you had no desire to be in the yes. This is a spiraling cycle that’s create what I call “same same”. Meaning it doesn’t give you a door or window out of the same rut/cycle.

Our filters are based on “should’s” and the more of these you have the more you will not be able to say no easily. When you are looking outside yourself for anything you need then you are not able to say no. Trying to fix someone else before yourself can get you into the yes before no.

Rushing is a form of violence towards ourselves and others. Every time you rush with your answer you have the potential of saying yes when you mean no.

Take a breath after someone asks you for something. Take 3 breaths if you need. It doesn’t have to be the next day but a few breaths give space. When you have space you have charm and you will then make better yes decisions.

Breath pause and breath and then give your answer.

Remember you CAN write and re-write your own history by saying what you truly want the very first time.


Are You Looking For Happiness In All the Wrong Places

happinessHappiness is a state of being and the more happy you are inside the more you will be happy on the outside.

It’s easier said than done, this happiness thing. Every time you say you’re happy then your little mind, the subconscious, throws a curve ball into your day or life. Those curve balls are there just to see how happy you really are and to get you to pay attention to all the tools and techniques that you’ve already learned so that you can have a better state of happiness.

The thing about happiness is that it’s about the level of purification you’ve attained. By purification I don’t mean purified water or a bath you took. Purification is about the energy body.

This purification of the energy body is multi-fold. You have an emotional energy body and that’s where the emotions get distorted and messy. Then there’s the mental body and that is usually dealt with when the emotional body has been handled. You’ll also want to know about the spiritual body (there’s a more defined term used by most but for now we’ll call it the spiritual body). This spiritual body is the overall reaching of the inner and outer you and it will allow you more peace or more torment depending on what level of purification you handled in the other bodies.

I want to ensure we don’t forget the physical body because that’s the body that takes the brunt of all the other bodies mental, emotional and spiritual When your physical body is purified you are handling what you eat in terms of food and what you eat in terms of thoughts. You physical body is in need of regular exercise, regular good clean and highly nutritious food (fruits, vegetables and nuts) and it is in need of regular maintenance. Without the purification of the emotional body then you’ll find that the body will take a hit and this could mean something simple such as an allergy or something complicated as cancer. Without the purification of the purification of the mental body you then have limited thinking and usually reside more in a state of fear.

Where are you looking for happiness? Is it in the physical body and all the daliances the body requests? Is it the emotional body where there’s drama created or there’s high high’s and low low’s? Are you looking in the mental body in a way to over thinking everything or being overly critical?

Get into your energy center in the middle of your chest, your heart chakra. Touch your heart chakra smile at your self and then smile at everything in your environment until it expands out to encompass the world. Once you have done that and continue to do that regularly then you’ll find that happiness is more effortless and purification of the other bodies comes with much more ease.

When a good girl does the best she can so that she won’t cause harm to others, she’s causing harm to herself. When causing harm to herself all she’s doing is causing the very harm she is trying to keep from others. So in essence (more…)

Gratitude for Healing Mind and Body

It’s been about 2 weeks since I broke the left ankle and wow what a journey. I walk and talk in gratitude every day and each morning during meditation and yet this is a much deeper level of gratitude.

I have gratitude for the working right leg, which I sprained from overuse within the first few days of using crutches. I learned that the crutches had been fitted improperly. I’m that much more grateful for the right leg and that it works so well and keeps me balanced and strong.

I have gratitude for the arms, shoulders and hands which are carrying around the extra weight with crutches. It became difficult in the first few days of using crutches because the wrists hadn’t had that much continuous weight on them – ever. Now I have really good biceps and triceps.

I have gratitude for the mind that allows me to come up with very very creative solutions to get a glass of water from the sink to the sofa, to get my fountains filled, to take clothes from the hamper to laundry room, to get my purse contents and briefcase contents into a backpack that’s elegant and yet functional (glad I didn’t give this one away)., for the iPhone4 for the movies I get to watch in bed because I don’t have cable TV and for the creative pulley system I designed to get stuff (ie. phone, TP, water bottle etc)  from downstairs to upstairs without lugging or falling.

My gratitude is for the people who have said they won’t help me or be available to help me because I know that some day Creator will put something in their path that shows them the mistake.

My gratitude is HUGE for those that have stepped up to help:
- when my sink suddenly started flooding after I’d dropped a chocolate shake that went everywhere and was trying to clean up only to discover that the sink was flooding,
- when I couldn’t figure out how to get the bags from my trip upstairs with stuff I’d need later
- when it was too difficult to even think about feeding myself,
- when it was too exhausting to get out of the car one more time and put the mail into the box at the Post Office
- when my trash cans had been put out by someone and then some random person brought them back to the top of the driveway when they’d been out for days because there’s no way I could get them anywhere on crutches

Well, gratitude is everywhere and ever greater and ever deeper for the healing modalities I’ve created and learned along the past 20 years. I know that having no pain during this process and the doctors saying that the healing is going faster than they’d seen is due to what I know and have done so many times for others and now myself.

Thank you for being here and supporting one of the missions I have been put on this earth to accomplish, share wisdom, energy, healing and peace with as many as I can.
