That last one is such a major challenge for many business owners. And the question I keep asking is who gave others the right to tell you that what you want is wrong.

Great post Sheevaun. We live in a culture where worrying and self doubt are supposedly good traits. My mom and grandma constantly told me that worrying is waste of energy. It doesn’t do any good to focus on negatives at any time. I have said this before and noticed some people compare worrying to to other actions, like being prepared for emergencies. That is not the same as worrying about emergencies. You can prepare and not worry. You can be sad and not worry. I really laugh when they say you can’t be positive all the time.

Well of course I have days and moments of doubt, sometimes I do worry about a friend, but then I ask myself, What is this worrying doing? What can I do instead. This happened to me last night when about a dozen things went wrong and I was about to sink into worrying mode when I reminded myself not to. If I am worried than I either step back or take action and hope for the best outcome, knowing win or lose life will go on.

Affirmations keep me on my toes and also remembering past experiences where I was worried about an event and what actually happened when I stopped worrying.
