When we are looking upward and onward we are less fearful. Every time we look back we are allowing fear of the consequences to hold us back.

Remembering the last post about being connected take a moment and close your eyes, breath a few times. While your eyelids are closed have your eyes look upward and hold that position for a minute. Continue to breath. Think about the most inspiring or elevated and least fearful person you can imagine and continue to hold this pose.

Notice that after you return to the room that you’re in that you have less fear of the outcome. This tiny exercise will allow you to gain more and more freedom from those fearful times.

Looking downward or backward is only going to trap you into that old place of fear and worry and so look onward and upward.

One of the ways to address the fear is to get connected. The reason I say this is that your spiritual connection or disconnection can actually create more fear. The smaller or thinner your spiritual cord is the more fear you will have, particularly if you’ve been more connected in times past. One sure way to test this is to think of whomever you deem creator and do this for a few minutes with gratitude and love. Make sure you smile J. Then think about someone you know who swears. This thought can actually shrink your spiritual cord. Then think about something where you are placing worry or lack energy. This will shrink it further. Before you know it you’re feeling tremendous fear and it then begins that spiraling thing. I mean that spiraling downward energy.

Now that you know a few things about fear and how it might come about then know also that there are ways to get rid of this fear thing and get to your place of freedom.
