Most days we walk through the day without much thought about how we will communicate. We speak to our family in the same old way. Our chatter with the store clerks is fleeting. The emails we send are filled with our wants, needs, desires and demands. Where is the communication that is filled with goodness and intention?
We say our intention is to communicate with love and kindness, but is that really true? If that were so true then our own inner voices would be much kinder and loving. The thought towards someone who is homeless would be of gratitude that they have the courage to be there and that you are able to help even if only with a kind word. Our inner dialogue towards someone who is obese would be much nicer – maybe something like Bless them for healing their wounds. Our frustrations towards the little things that aren’t going right would be to cut the cord, give yourself grace and turn to the next thing. The energy we emit when interacting with someone we aren’t in agreement with would be of love and forgiveness.

When you are mindful in your communication in the quiet inner voices that reach outward then you are being mindful on all levels. The most intense energy comes from our disdain inside and not what we are saying verbally. Truth is another one of those communications that we want to include in our mindfulness exercises and know that mindfulness is truly a muscle that must be exercised every day. The reason for this is that we are filled with so much negativity in the media that it exercise of the mind for intentional goodness is imperative for it to be natural.
Our entire existence would be filled with the ability to Mastering Our Energy, which helps us master our mind and ultimately our life.

Forgiveness to Heal Your Soul
Forgiveness is a magical formula to releasing all old emotions, traumas, patterns and being stuck in a rut. To forgive does not mean that you agree with the act but it does mean that you release it from your energy body. Every time you release old, stuck and negative energies from your body, mind, emotions, aura and chakras is when you are that much more liberated.
The ancient Hawaiian H’oponono mantra about forgiveness works well. I’ve modified it in a few ways to help it be that much more impactful. You can hear more about the forgiveness program on this meditation CD.
Lance Armstrong coined the phrase “Live Strong” and that bracelet and I think that’s a nice idea but I like beautiful and elegant things.
A favorite spiritual jeweler shares his latest design, Forgiveness Pendant. If you happen to spend some time on his site then you’ll see so many innovative, exotic, wonderful creations. It always makes me wonder when the guy sleeps, because he has so many ideas that he brings to light.
How Catharsis Can Help – part 2
There was a lot of response to our brief overview of how catharsis can help. This has inspired me to take a few more steps to help you understand what it is and how you can get through it while it’s happening.

You never know when you’re having catharsis but here are a few signs.
* Everything you touch seems to go wrong
* Your body is sick and you can’t find a reason
* Everyone around you is angry with you and you have no idea why
* You freak out about the smallest things
* You can’t stand anything
When you’re in the midst of catharsis you mainly need to go back to the basics. Take salt baths and meditate. Give yourself some down time. Forgive the world for being so crazy, forgive yourself for getting sucked in.
Look at it this way, without catharsis we would be stuck in the same ole, same ole stuff. We would have no reason to make a shift and improve our life, work, emotions, family, relationship, environment.
Remember the if the pendulum has swung too far in one direction the universe will have it go the other direction until you get to a place of equilibrium. Or I should say mainly equilibrium. There’s no such thing as balance and that’s why we don’t use that word here.
Where Did I Get THAT Belief
As you may know your beliefs are the greatest asset and also the greatest obstacle to your success, happiness, spirituality, and relationships. This can sound daunting given that most of the beliefs that we hold are ones that we don’t even know we have.
Our unconscious creates these wonderful opportunities for discovery and they often cause pain. Well here’s an opportunity to relieve yourself of some of the unknown beliefs.

Choosing Greens Over Screens
There are many ways to think about greens and usually people veer off toward the environment and while the environment is important there are many other greens that we need to consider. We’re going to cover a wider range here, than just the economy, our greenbacks and environment, and get you back into the green, inside and out.
We sit in front of computer screens, video screens, TV screens, iPod/Pad/Phone screens, car window screens and are essentially screened in and screening out. We’re more involved than ever, without an end in sight, with the wondrous world of screens. We’ve forgotten that there’s a world of green out there…beyond your screens, doors and windows? These greens are essential to the energetic balance and fullness of your life.
Here are some green minded things you’ll want to use, know and do:
Green energy is a healing green. There are many shades of green energy but the most healing and vibrant green that is the lighter color of a leaf is the best and most productive. We usually call it light whitish green when working with this color. The field around the body, when green or filled with more green, is an indication of lots of healing and helping energy. Meditation is older than anything we can imagine. It predates the Romans and the Upanishads. Meditation has been around
since the first time man looked with wonder at the sky after hunting or gathering and holding that space of peace and inner confidence.
Over the past many thousands of years we have danced between liking then loving meditation all the way to debunking meditation. At this particular point in time we are engaging more and more with science and spirituality, which allows us to embrace meditation.

Cut the Cord
Those energies that connect you to every other person on the planet are often very draining. If you remain connected to those negative energies then you become down, sad, depressed, depleted. Your true vibrant self and wellbeing are at risk. Here’s how to cut those cords.
I recall a situation when I worked with a well known actress and when we disconnected the cords from her she collapsed in her chair. She sat there a few moments and after a few breaths she sat up straight. She looked so happy and then she said “I haven’t felt this free and happy in a very long time. My life has been good but I haven’t felt free.”
What she was feeling were the connections of others that were impregnated into her energy field. When you feel bogged down and just not able to get up and do something there are several ways to get free. Most motivational teachers tell you to get up and do something or that idle hands make idle minds. Well this is more true if you take into account the energy connections. These connections in the quantum physics world are termed “string theory”. With the string theory everything is connected. This is true and let’s take a deeper look at those strings, we are calling cords.
Those strings or cords are attached once you have an interaction with someone else. Every time you interact with family there’s another attachment of those cords. When you get groceries then you end up with a cord from the clerk. The family attachment is much more deeply embedded and the grocery clerk can dissolve much more quickly. There are a few times when the clerks cord to you doesn’t disconnect and that’s when they are continuously thinking of you.
Recall above we talked about the actress. Well a lot of people were continuously thinking about her. Her pictures were everywhere.
These cords drain energy from you and enough drained energy from your energy body means that it’s only a matter of time before your physical body gets the effect. The effect of a drain on the physical body show up in the form of sadness that makes no sense, blame, worry about something that you don’t usually worry about, physical exhaustion after interacting with certain people, etc.
So the remedy is to cut those cords. Now I don’t just mean cut them once. Some of those cords have very long history in your energy body. Some of those cords now have your mind involved. So you’ll need to cut them daily for the most optimal results.
