Where Are The Answers Hidden?
We look to external sources of information for internal feelings of validation. The answers that come from outside will either confirm your existing ideas of the solution or will be dismissed by your internal framework.
Should I quit my job?
Should I end the relationship with my boyfriend?
How can I get out of debt?
Do I have to continue studying and get that degree?
The answer is already hidden inside of you. You might need the help of a coach or therapist to remove the cobwebs in your thinking patterns and expose the real answers you seek.
But the answer is already obvious, sometimes hidden in plan sight.
Trust The Inner Voice
There is something to be said about commitment and loyalty to a situation that is not working out. Staying in an unhappy marriage to find a solution with your partner is actually commendable. It’s the right thing to do. But if a relationship is toxic and leaving you feeling abused, it’s time to listen to that still, small voice deep inside you.
It takes courage to make a tough decision. And the reason why you seek answers outside is because you are not sure if you can exercise such courage.
Yes, you can. You have it in you.
The answer is deep inside you.
