Everyone, Sheevaun Moran here, and I’m Driving For Your Success today with the idea that your limits are as far as you can see in your vision, and that’s why there’s so much talk about imagination. What is your imagination consumed with? Generally, our imaginations are consumed with worry, fear, anxiety, tension, stress, lack, limitation, and our to-do list. And you know, our to-do list is actually not as big as we imagine it. And our to don’t list isn’t even on that list. And so our true imagination, which we’ve gotten away from using because it has become a muscle that’s not used as well. When we didn’t have devices and things that we were consumed with social media, texting , emails, and every other way to communicate with another. So on the planet, we had the opportunity to get out into the world and get in nature and be focused on what was in front of us, what we were doing at the moment, or else something could happen, we could die, or the equipment could fail or something.
So we have a lot of creature comforts, human comforts, and yet we have a lot more distractions. And so our imagination is actually not being utilized to help us succeed and thrive and get beyond to that next place. And what we’re seeing in statistics, or what I’ve seen in statistics recently is that we are actually not getting as far ahead as we used to. And I suspect it has a little bit to do with our imaginations and our imagination muscles getting weak. So what do you imagine your future to look like and make it a a near future? And then make it a far future? Because if you are filled with all of these other todos and you don’t clean out the to don’ts and you don’t work toward the imagination of the near future and the far future, then you’re just gonna end up discovering that you didn’t quite get to where you want or you didn’t get to where you want at all.
And the idea for life is to imagine something better. And in order to imagine something better, you actually have to use that muscle again and again, and again and again, and again and again, and grow that muscle, and build that muscle, and let that muscle be strong and in our favor. So imagine good for yourself. Imagine better than good for yourself. Imagine beauty and grace and ease and flow and things coming toward you with beauty and grace and ease and flow, and only the most abundant, beautiful things. So let’s imagine a little bit better than we have been.
Sure read the news, but imagine a different and better outcome. Rather than grumble at the news, imagine a different and better outcome because it’s truly possible. That’s how our imaginations helped us get to where we are today. So use your imagination and let’s imagine the future together to something better than you had yesterday.
