In a regular 9-5 environment, tasks and projects are allocated deadlines. These deadlines encourage the average employee to pace their work accordingly. Most people subconsciously plan their project timeline so they’ll finish right on time.
And this is what we broadly call “productivity.”
A minority of smart people figure out that you can complete projects and tasks as fast as you want them to.
Greatness Is The Goal
The world’s most successful people do not aim for balance. They strive to give their 100% to whatever they are doing. They tend to obsess over the details and give their complete attention to their goals.
Due to their focus, they are always present in the moment. Whether it’s their family asking for attention, their current set at the gym, or a work challenge – their goal is to be completely present.
To them, balance is not the key. Greatness is the goal.
They can do so much more than anyone else because of this singular persistence with their life.
