Separate Social Media From Real Life
What you see from someone’s social media feed is a distorted picture of their life. The perfect bodies and electric smiles belong to people who also have their bad days.

Imposter syndrome makes us believe that we must be perfect. But even the greatest sportsperson doesn’t win 100% of the time. Grammy award winners can hit the wrong note and the wisest leaders make mistakes.
When we experience impostor syndrome, we tend to exaggerate everyone else’s accomplishments. And we downplay our own achievements.
The next time you find yourself comparing yourself to other people, stop and think rationally. Remind yourself that no one gets it right all the time. And then remind yourself of your achievements. Learn to celebrate you.
