When you manage your attention better, you will learn how to prioritize the projects and people that really matter to you. Time will no longer be a big issue.
When you have less distracting elements in your surroundings, you are more likely to get more work done.
Are you trying to get your work done in a coffee shop where you know most of the patrons on a personal level? Perhaps it is best to work in a quiet corner of a co-working space where nobody knows who you are.
Remember that the key to getting things done is not how you manage your time.
It is how well you manage your attention.
Often, our attention wanders because our work is not personally satisfying or fulfilling.
To truly find your focus, look for work that is meaningful to you. When you are engrossed in work that is enjoyable, challenging and meaningful to you, time-management will no longer be an issue.
