The opposite of love… is fear. To love, therefore, is to be fearless.
Fear is all around us. It surrounds us and is in us. And like a muscle, it grows stronger the more you feed it.
This vicious cycle will break when you stop feeding your inner anxiety and start doing what you are scared of.

Anxiety is a form of fear.
Ignoring fear and pretending it does not exist only makes it stronger.
To be fearless, you need to acknowledge your anxieties and then confront them.
Confront the people, the situations, the places that you are afraid of and start taking action. Or, do it scared.
The more you put yourselves in situations which trigger your anxieties, the less you will feel the limiting force of the fear.
When you take intentional action, it drives fear into the backseat.
Comfort builds with time – when an action becomes habitual.
There is no shame in feeling scared and anxious. We all feel it. But letting the shame hold you back is a guaranteed path to failure. Not taking action makes the fear stronger while action increases your courage and builds confidence.
The Truth About Fear
Any action, event or person that presents a risk and puts us out of our comfort zone tends to cause us fear. We are scared of the unknown and the unpredictable. Uncertainty in jobs and relationships are also common sources of fear.
Being scared holds us back. It holds us back from performing at our jobs and from developing greater intimacy in our relationships.
But the truth is, it’s not as bad as you imagine it to be. Most of your fears are illusions that everyone else also has to deal with. These fears like the demons of your imaginations will not go away until you stand up to them. And when you do, you will discover new fears. New levels bring new devils.
Facing these inner demons causes you to feel empowered and diminishes the hold of the fear on your life.
Steps To Fearless Living
Fear restricts you to a life of mediocrity.
Fight back against this mediocrity today.
Start by paying close attention to the language of your thoughts. Are you settling for average and living well below your potential? Notice the reactions in your body as you list the areas in your life that are sub-par at the moment.
Now, start re-framing your limiting beliefs.
Set a goal that is bigger than anything you have dreamed of before. Create an action plan to accomplish it. (You will notice that just making a plan creates feelings of excitement and enthusiasm… the opposite of fear).
Stop focusing on your past failures. Allow yourself the luxury to fail as many times as it takes to succeed. Every opportunity is a new beginning.
Push yourself an extra step every day. Small changes every day lead to big transformations.
Finally, don’t settle and stop playing it safe.
