Staying within the zone of comfort can be limiting, holding you back from taking chances and exploring your full potential. In fact, when you stay in the comfort zone, whether or not you experience any personal growth doesn’t matter; you don’t need to do much to stay in the same place. Luckily, getting out of your comfort zone is very possible, and can be done while improving happiness, energy and enhancing your path to success.
Take a Step Outside of Your Routine
Your routine is a huge part of your comfort. Take a look at the things that you do every day – is there any room for variance? If so, seize the opportunity. For example, consider doing something like going to a different place for lunch, adding in a class or waking up at an earlier hour.
Try New Things
The biggest danger of the comfort zone is that it prevents us from trying new things. If you want to improve your energy, you need to not be afraid to fail and be willing to try new things. Go to an art class, join your friends for yoga or try cooking. Chances are you will like it and be way better at it than you thought.
