The fear of ‘What if…’ is the biggest source of anxiety.
Fear is one of the most primal and powerful emotion humans experience. The energy created as a result of experiencing these emotions can either paralyze or spur you into action. When the anxious thoughts of uncertainty are entertained, they become unruly guests in your mind and start to control your body. Anxiety is a common symptom of fear. As are panic attacks. Both occur in totally irrational situations.
Fear always begins with a thought. ‘What if…’
Worrying about things before they happen is a surefire way to escape having to face those situations.
The Fear Of ‘What If’
The ‘what if’ thinking is exactly what drives your anxiety.
What you feed grows. The more you feed your fear, the more power it gains and so on..
Overcome The Fear of ‘What if’
Retrain your brain to let go of these fears. They will pop up now and again but you can overcome it.
To do this, you first need to show your mind that the fear is false. There is no real threat. By doing the exact thing you fear, you prove to your mind that the fear and unfounded.
Sure, you will feel the energy of the emotions caused by fear coursing through your body. But you will act anyway. Do it afraid.
