Working in a toxic environment can quickly result in a decline in self-esteem and energy. If you are working in a workplace that is toxic – which is often characterized by gossip, politics, and negativity – here are some tips for coping:

Also challenging to do, try to think of what you are going through as a learning experience and an opportunity for self-growth. For example, see how other people act and treat one another and determine that that is not who you want to be.
Conduct Yourself with Integrity
In some cases, there is nothing that you can do to change a toxic work environment. Instead of focusing on others and what you can do to fix them, focus on yourself and conducting yourself with integrity.
When you do, you’ll see that your energy improves and your personal success increases.
