You quit your unfulfilling dead-end day job and decide to start your own business. Only problem is, a few months into living life on your terms, you are plagued with doubts, feelings of inadequacies and uncertainties.
An inner conflict threatens to ruin your new found freedom!
Inner Conflict Is Common
When you begin your transformation journey, you will feel a low-level anxiety created by thoughts of what others will think of you. You might even find that you are operating on a beginner-level in an area that others have spent years mastering.
There is a part of you that will feel confident and another part that feels vulnerable.
No one is free from inner conflict – the part that tempts our resolve. You may have decided to go on a diet but that chocolate cookie looks so tempting! Of course you have a choice when this dilemma presents itself. In more serious cases, you might be tempted to have an affair, or break the law to feel the rush of adrenaline.
Stop Resisting the Inner Voice
What we resist persists! The inner voice in your head presenting you with doubts, pulling you back and making you feel guilty about your life? That voice has an important role to play. Bring it to the forefront and explore the origins of that voice in your life.
Like most other conflict, the inner conflict within us tends to get louder when we ignore it. The resulting feelings of dis-ease make a person feel inadequate.
Pay attention to the voice in your head that disagrees with your transformation. Remember, trying to repress it will only make it that much louder.
