You’re a busy, successful person. And as such, there are times when you don’t have time for your regular routine. Whether you’re running to a meeting or running to catch a business flight, knowing how to maintain your health and energy when you’re on the go is critical for your continued success. Here are a few tips to help you when you regular routine is interrupted:
Drink Plenty of Water
Staying hydrated can help you to feel and look great, and keep your energy levels up, even when things get a little crazy. Carry a reusable bottle on you at all times.
Stand Up and Move Around
Whether you’re traveling or just busy, you may be feeling a little sluggish, and be tempted to spend the hours in the airport just sitting. Resist the urge to be immobile, though; instead, get up and move around as much as you can. If you have time, perform between 10-100 jumping jacks, do some air squats, and swing your arms to get blood pumping.
Take Time to Chill
When you’re busy, finding time to chill can be tough. However, taking a moment for yourself – even if it truly is only a moment – can help you stay centered and balance. Try meditation, yoga, stretching, or breathing exercises for some much needed you time.
