3 Things to Do this Weekend for Improved Energy
It’s the weekend! That means that it is the perfect time to restore energy and get your energy levels up for the next week. Even if you are busy as can be, make sure to do these three things this weekend for improved energy—
- Get Outside
Take a couple hours this weekend to get outside and enjoy the last few days of summer before cool weather really sets in. Go for a walk, read a book outside, or play with your kids outdoors. You’ll be grateful you did.
Sleep, but don’t necessarily sleep in. Instead, set a bedtime for yourself and wake up with the sun the next morning. If you’re still tired – or even if you’re not – try to take a short (under 45 minutes) nap to give you a boost of energy. Anything longer than 45 minutes and you’ll probably feel groggy and your sleep cycle may be disrupted.
- Do One Thing for You
Take time this weekend to do one thing for yourself. Maybe it’s an hour of reading your favorite book. Or maybe you schedule time to exercise or cook yourself a delicious meal. Maybe you attend that yoga class you’ve been dying to get to. Whatever it is, make sure at least part of your weekend is about y-o-u.
