A simple habit, such as putting away a tenth of what you earn in a fixed account will have compounded effects over time.
Write Down Your Habits
Writing down your goals is a simple and effective way to increase your clarity and commitment. The same principle applies to your habits – writing them makes you more committed to the process.
Maintain a journal where you keep a record of your daily habits and how you spend your time. You will notice a pattern.
Make a note of it. Write down new habits to change the old ineffective ones. And hold yourself accountable to it.
Keep Yourself Accountable
If health and fitness is a goal you are working on, allocate time in your week for training sessions at the gym or sports with friends.
The best way to stay accountable is to join a weekly group or find a workout-buddy.
Finally, be patient. Remember that it takes around 2.5 months to develop a new habit.
